About the Coalition:
Mission:
- To bring together the communities and organizations in the USD 426, to create a coalition to benefit those in the district and the surrounding areas in the following ways:
- To create healthier communities by creating opportunities for physical activity, placemaking, workforce wellness, entrepreneurship, safer public spaces, youth engagement, walkability, tobacco-free spaces, and better access to healthcare.

Past Grants:
Our first initiative is to work toward a Pike Valley Community Recreation Club that will help facilitate more physical activity and mental health programs for all ages throughout the larger community along with being the central hub for information to bring the community together. We intend to also use the Rec Club to help with food instability by helping with community meals and getting the word out to more volunteers and partnering with our local food growers.
