It Gets Better: Changemakers | provides funds for exceptional projects led by LGBTQ+ youth in collaboration with a partner organization to make communities bolder, safer, and prouder places for all. Support is provided to LGBTQ+ youth aged 13 to 18 partnering with registered nonprofits or public and charter secondary schools within the United States, including U.S. territories. Funded projects must support LGBTQ+ youth in the community. Projects that support LGBTQ+ youth of color, trans and nonbinary youth, and LGBTQ+ youth with disabilities are of particular interest. Kubota Hometown Proud | Kubota will invest in communities across the country by awarding 10 grants. Union Pacific | In order for communities to thrive, all residents must feel safe. Just as the safety of our employees and community members is paramount to how we operate, Union Pacific is committed to helping communities prevent and prepare for incidents and emergencies, and helping residents get home safely at the end of each day. As such, we prioritize funding for projects and programs that seek to encourage safe behaviors and prevent incidents through educatoion and awareness, eliminate risks and improve safe and equitable access to community spaces through infrastructure improvements, prepare and equip residents and emergency responders, prevent crime and violent incidents and support survivors of domestic violence, build the capacity of safety-focused organizations to integrate practices that improve upon the diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts of the organization. Humanities for All | support projects that draw on history, literature, and culture to engage the public with stories that spark conversations. Creativity and innovation are encouraged. Hunger Free Kansas Mass Action Grants | Kansas nonprofits to test innovative ideas to address hunger and food insecurity. Any eligible 501(c)(3) organization, government entity, or church in Kansas classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, not a “supporting organization” described in Section 509(a)(3), and not a “private foundation” as defined in Section 509(a), may submit projects. Kansas Department of Commerce ROOMS grant | The goal of this grant program is to encourage renovation and improvements in the upper floors of commercial buildings in local Main Street districts consistent with proven Main Street practices, including those that retain unique historic elements and use materials that lower operating costs by conserving energy. The expected outcome of this program is to create new housing opportunities in downtown commercial districts; rehabilitate or preserve properties; and create a stronger tax base. Grants are $50,000. FY25 Safe Streets and Roads for All Program Planning and Demonstration grants | Funds for the fiscal year (FY) 2025 SS4A grant program are to be awarded on a competitive basis to support planning, infrastructure, and behavioral and operational initiatives to prevent fatalities and serious injuries on roads and streets involving all roadway users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, public transportation, motorists, and commercial vehicle operators. National Endowment for the Arts | The Grants for Arts Projects program provides project-based funding for organizations in the areas of artist communities, arts education, dance, design, film and media arts, folk and traditional arts, literary arts, local arts agencies, museums, music, musical theater, opera, presenting and multi-disciplinary works, theater, and visual arts. Funded activities may include public engagement with the arts and arts education, the integration of the arts with strategies promoting the health and well-being of people and communities, and the improvement of overall capacity and capabilities within the arts sector. The Awesome Foundation | Each fully autonomous chapter supports awesome projects through micro-grants, usually given out monthly.
