After merging with Healthier Community Alliance in 2016, Healthier Lyon County now boasts a coalition of over 75 organizations and 140 people who work to improve the lives of Lyon County residents. Our mission is to encourage initiatives, policies, and resources to improve health in Lyon County. Our mission is to create a healthy, equitable community for our residents through policy, system, environmental, and personal change. We also use funds to pay utility bills. medical bills and senior meals. At the present time we have been awarded a Pathways grant and are using to it to expand our services.
